蓄冷器运行一段时间后,由于气流来回冲击,充填的卵石会逐渐被夯实而下沉。此外,卵石磨损或破碎也会造成卵石量不足。如果卵石充填不严实,气流就会带动卵石上下跳动,容易砸坏内部的盘管,造成管子泄漏。沼气提纯设备有液空过冷器的空分设备,在启动前将下塔及主冷的液体排掉一部分,以防止液空过冷器堵塞;在冷端温度达-150℃时,应尽量降低环流量,防止二氧化碳堵塞环流通道;沼气提纯设备如果向主冷内反充1m3的液氧,相当于从外部提供了0.47×106kJ的冷量,约为5000m3的膨胀空气在2h内的制冷量。有的厂曾做过试验,启动时往塔内充灌20m3的液氧,对6500m3/h空分设备可缩短启动时间16.5h;对10000m3/h空分设备可缩短启动时间8h以上。
